About Us

Chip Cooper, president of Chip Cooper's Roofing Co., Inc., grew up right here in Santa Maria, California. He graduated from Santa Maria High and continued his education at Cal Poly where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business.

After graduating Chip began his career in the roofing industry. He has been active in all aspects of a roofing company, from estimating jobs to overseeing them through until completion. With 30 years of roofing experience, Chip has developed good relationships with all the resource people that are part of building a high-quality roof that is tailored to your needs. Chip Cooper's Roofing knows the materials, the manufacturers and the suppliers. Chip is familiar with all roofing applications and knows which one is best for your project.

Chip Cooper's oldest son, Matthew Cooper is the company's financial officer. Matthew was born and also raised in Santa Maria. He graduated from local schools including St. Joseph High School and is in pursuit of his accounting degree at UCSB. Matthew has experience in many areas of business and has worked in accounting directly with local contractors.

Our professional installers have many years of experience, some with more than 20 years, with roof applications and repairs.
